Shihan Karl Koch (15th Dan) & Shihan Rob Renner (15th Dan), March 17-18, 2012, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Stone Mountain Bujinkan Dojo presents Shihan Karl Koch and Shihan Rob Renner. We will focus on Hatsumi Soke’s theme for the year, 神龍要護 – finding and utilizing, as well as protecting, the “Kaname,” or essence. Soke has been talking about this essence in the movement of taijutsu. Through specific drills and concepts used by the four top shihan in Japan, we will discover how to use these ‘essential points’ to effectively control resisting opponents.

In the Planning Stages…

  • Possibility of Shihan Dan Ordoins, 15th Dan in Birmingham, Alabama on May 5-6, 2012, hosted by Shidoshi John Owsiak.
  • Possibility of Shinken Taijutsu Level 1 modules taught by Shidoshi Arlando Sanders (8th Dan), in Birmingham, Alabama over the course of 3-4 weekends from May to July.
  • Possibility of Shihan Duncan Stewart, 15th Dan in Atlanta at Shihan Wilkinson’s dojo in July. If Shihan Stewart sticks to his recent format, there should be some really excellent info on taijutsu fundamentals and henka.

As these seminars become more solidified, we will post here and also make an announcement on our blog. You can subscribe to the blog at the upper left corner of this page and instantly receive notices by email.

See you at training!
